Trauma Patient Cases for SimMan 3G

Trauma: Head Injury & Bleeding The Laerdal SimMan 3G™ simulator introduces a revolutionary way to provide realistic case-based simulation to help improve learners’ critical thinking and decision-making skills. SimMan 3G Patient Cases for Auto Mode are based on physiological models embedded in the simulator, and feature simple instructor control.

The Auto Mode Patient Cases promote:

• Patient assessment and management

• Critical thinking skills

• Team interaction and communication

• Debriefing, student reflection and remediation

The 12 cases included in the Trauma: Head Injury & Bleeding package are developed to train healthcare professionals and students at different levels, military personnel, first responders, trauma team members, and others who participate in the care and management of serious and life-threatening physical injury.

Simple instructor controls allow the educator to adjust the Case as it unfolds, to increase or decrease the difficulty/severity for the learners. This ensures the Cases are adaptable for different skill and competency levels of learners.
